/my 2nd game was more focused on experimenting with 2D game aesthetics

For my second game, I decided to make a 2D platformer with a particular focus on the aesthetics and visuals of the game's graphics. Being the sole designer, I had to be efficient at the game development whilst keeping a proper quality standard to the the design, development and production. I thus decided to make the game completely handrawn, giving it a concept feel which I believed to be novel and unique in its own way.

The story of the game is about an island which has unfortunately been taken hostage by evil roaming shadows. The task of the character is to free the island from their gloomy grasp and save the land from its magnificent environment. Inspired from the Mauritian scenery, the adventure takes place in typical locations such as, rural, urban and of course by the sea.
